Warwick Ayres graduated from Auckland University in 1985 and is the principal and owner of Ayres Legal which he established in 2000. Previously a partner in a larger firm he wanted to be able to give more direct and personal attention to all aspects of his client's needs.
Having practised law for 30 years, Warwick has specialised in property law, commercial, contracts, leasing, trusts, wills, estates and relationships. His clients are small/medium sized businesses and private clients.

Wisam Alsalhi was born and raised in Iraq before moving to New Zealand in 1998 with his family. His multi-cultural and bilingual background provides him with a unique insight into the difficulties that many clients of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds face in their interactions with the law. Wisam is a fluent Arabic speaker in a variety of dialects.
His greatest asset as a lawyer is his ability to bridge the gap in communication and understanding for his clients. He firmly believes in the importance of providing the necessary information and understanding to enable his clients to make informed decisions regarding their interests. Wisam is committed to providing professional legal services while remaining compassionate to his clients' circumstances.
Wisam graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2013 and has since continued to work hard to gain experience in a variety of legal areas to enable him to provide comprehensive and practical legal advice to his clients.
He has experience in Estate and Trust planning, formation and administration as well as dealing with Insurance Disputes, Commercial Leases, Residential Conveyancing and Civil Disputes Resolution.
Wisam has a variety of interests that include playing soccer, reading books, and playing on his guitar.
Sylvia Mulcahy is the Legal Executive and Trust Account Administrator. She joined the firm in March 2017 and has become an integral part of the team and in keeping the office running. Sylvia has a particular and keen interest in property conveyancing, but assists in a variety of matters.
Outside of the office, Sylvia is studying the New Zealand Diploma in Legal Executive Studies, enjoys good food and spending time at her Taranaki family bach.
Mary Ann Percy
Mary Ann worked in the media in New Zealand and London before graduating from Auckland University with a law degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Canterbury University.
She has experience in asset planning through wills and trusts as well as conveyancing, media law, civil disputes and family law.
Discretion and professionalism are important to Mary Ann when dealing with clients and their legal issues. She is committed to helping clients achieve their goals in a timely and efficient manner.
