I am a solicitor at Ayres Legal, servicing our Korean client base. Fluent in English and Korean my areas of experience include:
I was born in Korea, migrating to New Zealand with my family in 2001. I completed my LLB at the University of Auckland in 2007. In addition to my LLB I also have a PhD in Physics from the University of Leicester in England. My doctoral thesis on condensed matter physics included research on optical and electrical characteristics of amorphous semiconductor thin films used for the base layer film for making memory or non-memory semiconductor chips. Following the completion of my PhD I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Semiconductor research centre and a company in Seoul.
I have also published physics papers in a number of international physics journals.
Since completing my LLB I have maintained my interest in physics. However, as a member of the Korean community in Auckland I am now committed to providing timely and effective legal advice tailored to our Korean clients.
